3 Simple Steps To Have A More Productive Day In Under 30 Minutes

Today’s Back-to-the-Basics is a little different.  It doesn’t have a direct line to marketing, but it is indirect.

So I ask, how would you like to have a more productive day?

If you’re like me then you’re saying, “Of course, David, I want a more productive day!  How can I do this?!”

Well, I have three simple steps for you to take that will give you a more productive day and it all takes less than 30 minutes every morning.

Ready?

  1. As soon as you get up drink a glass of water and eat a piece of fruit (banana anyone?!) or some nuts (I like cashews and almonds).  Why a glass of water?  Because most of us don’t drink enough water throughout the day.  Why not get a leap up on your water intake in the morning.  And, fruit and nuts are good for you.  So there!
  2. Make your bed!  I used to HATE (yes, all caps) making my bed.  I always thought that my bed was going to get messy again tonight so why make it.  Well, for one, when you make you’re bed it’s one less thing your subconscious mind is thinking about.  Two, it just looks neater.  It’ll make you feel better.  Try it.
  3. Go for a short 10-20 minute brisk walk.  Get your heart rate up and your blood flowing through your body.  It’ll get your creative juices flowing!  Plus, it’s a little exercise you’re probably not getting (If you’re like me, if it doesn’t get done in the morning then I’m too tired to do it in the evening).

That’s it!

It’s that simple to get more out of your day, and all for under 30 minutes every morning.  It wakes you up, gets you hydrated, gets you already checking off your ‘to-do list’ (bed made) and gets your creative juices flowing!

Try it out and let me know how you feel afterwards.

Also, I’d love to hear if you have a morning ritual that you do that helps you be more productive and creative throughout the day.  Share in the comment section below!

Now go take action!
