Dan Kennedy told this to my sister when she started working for him.
My sister told me and I started living my life by this.
Think about it… how many missed opportunities have you had just because you didn’t ask?
A few years ago when I was working in real estate, “the boss” was telling me that she was going to her husbands lawyer’s club where a bunch of lawyers get together and do different skits on stage. For the past 6 years I’ve heard how fun it is… so I was wondering how I could be invited.
Well, unfortunately, they only do the skit for two nights. One night is for family and the other night is for clients of the law firms. Well, I’m neither. 🙁
So, as she was talking about going, I asked if I could go. She said I couldn’t go because it’s for family. I said… “but I am family!” She picked up the phone, made a call to her husband, he did his magic, and… I got a seat!!
It was an honor to go. Most people will never be able to have this experience in life (I felt like I was on the set of Saturday Night Live, but with lawyers), but I was able to go because I ASKED!
What’s the worst thing that could happen if you don’t ask? You miss out! What’s the worst thing that could happen if you ask? NOTHING!
But, if you do ask, your chances of getting/doing/experiencing what you want multiple.
Now, with your marketing, you have to “ASK” your prospects, customers, and clients for their order. Ask them to take action. ask-Ask-ASK!
Just like the Bible says… “Ask and you shall receive.”
Now go take action!
