Wow, can you believe it’s already 2016? Sounds like the future or something…
Whelp, let’s get right into it for another round of Back-to-the-Basics Monday! Got to get your mind thinking on the right track for the start of the new year.
Here’s a great saying from copywriting and marketing legend John Carlton (from his book The Entrepreneur’s Guide To Getting Your Shit Together volume one [I’m still waiting for volume two, ahmmm, John…])
“The real money is in the sales you make after you bring someone into your world.”
You need to understand, you’re goal is to get new prospects into your business to try your products and services, so you can then sell them other products and services in the future!
The relationship starts when they first walk through your door, but it doesn’t stop there. You may have to lose money to gain a new customer, and that’s ok! Because you’ll make up the loss on continued purchases and start racking in the moolah (this is a little secret from a lot of small business marketers out there).
So, remember, you want to make a sale to get a customer! Out spend your competitors and you just may start towering over your competitors too.
Now go take action!
