Do You Have Real News To Share?

Seems I haven’t done a “Back-to-the-Basics” in a while, so today I want to share with you a quote from the marketing genius, Dan Kennedy.

In the November 2016 issue of the No B.S. Marketing Letter, Dan was talking about waste.  And not just any waste but…  Dumb waste.

I’m sure you’ve seen a lot of “dumb waste” when it comes to marketing.  Heck, you’re probably guilty of it (I sure know I am).

So, what is this dumb waste Dan is talking about?  Well, let’s find out…

“NEVER write and send a letter unless you have something to say.  Have real news for me, or shut up, I’m busy.” -Dan Kennedy

How many times have you seen some advertisement from a big dumb company telling you about their new logo or they now have a new website for better user experience?  You probably see it all of the time.

Well Dan is saying, NEVER send out some advertisement unless you have something real to say.  What’s the real news?  Is it a way you can save your customers and clients money?  Is it a way you can make their lives easier?

Remember, you should always be answering this questions, “Why should I do business with you versus every other option available to me or nothing at all.” (Dan Kennedy’s Unique Selling Proposition question).

So send your prospects, customers, and clients REAL NEWS so they’ll spend more money with you!
