New Rush Priority Express Envelope To Boost Response

I know you’ve seen my other posts about 3D Mail Marketing (You can check some of them out Here, Here, and Here).  This isn’t 3D, but it goes hand in hand…

One thing I was doing in my 3 step mail campaign to expired listings was taking a brown 9″ x 12″ envelope and putting in a mini Rubik’s Cube to make it lumpy so it’ll get opened.  Well, I never got a response from this 2nd step mailing.  Booo!!!  Though, I’ve been getting great responses from the third step (Trash Can and now Message in a Bottle).

Anywho, I decided to change up the 2nd step by changing out the brown envelope and mini Rubik’s Cube for a fake Express Envelope that has a Bald Eagle on it.  Here’s a picture of the envelope along with the Message in a Bottle with the notepad I use to write the handwritten messages:

Pretty sweet, huh?!  Looks better than the real deal!

The goal here is to get your sales letter opened!!!  If it gets thrown away then it never gets seen and you can never get a new client.  Don’t do what everyone else does.  Be different.  This will definitely boost the open rate of your envelopes, just be sure you have a killer sales letter!

So far I’ve sent out 9 of these envelopes with no response… yet.  Unfortunately, for me, expired listings are very scattered and I target specific houses so I don’t just send my 3 step mail campaign to just any listing.

It’s all about testing to see what works and what doesn’t work.  My brown envelope with the mini Rubik’s Cube didn’t work, but maybe this new Rush Priority Express envelope will.  Only testing will tell.
